Robert E. Shaw
represents
secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy, workouts and commercial litigation. He also
advises clients in contract, real estate and probate matters.
Mr. Shaw is a member of the American Bar Association
(Litigation and Bankruptcy Sections), the Illinois State Bar Association, the Jefferson
County Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Southern Illinois
Bankruptcy Institute. In 1997 he was selected by his peers as one of the Leading Illinois
Attorneys in the area of Bankruptcy and Workout Law. Mr. Shaw is also a member of the
Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Mt. Vernon West (charter member)
and the Knights of Columbus. He volunteers for the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance
Foundation pro bono program and as a counselor to the Mitchell Museum at
Cedarhurst, a part of the John R. and Eleanor R. Mitchell Foundation, Mt. Vernon,
Illinois.
Before receiving his J.D. degree in 1979 from Southern
Illinois University at Carbondale, Mr. Shaw worked in the electrical industry after
earning a B.S degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia in
1965.

Curtis W. Martin
Curtis W. Martin
represents both corporate and individual clients in litigation and collection matters. He
also advises clients in contract, real estate, commercial, probate and family law.
Mr. Martin is a member of the American Bar Association,
the Illinois State Bar Association, the Jefferson County Bar Association, the Southern
Illinois Bankruptcy Institute and the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce. He volunteers
for the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation pro bono program and the
Project Success for area schools.
Mr. Martin received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting
with Honors from the University of Illinois in 1986 and his Jurist Doctor. degree
from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1989.
